I first met Casey Cavaliere while recording my song, Ugly Sweater, with my friend, Tom Conran. Casey works at the same studio.
For 15+ years, Casey has been one of the guitar players for the Philly-based band, The Wonder Years.

For years, I've been a long time supporter and advocate for To Write Love On Her Arms - a suicide and self-injury prevention organization. (The shirt I'm wearing in the featured photo is one of theirs.)
If you don't know about them, TWLOHA has impacted millions of lives over the last 14 years, and helped make conversations about mental health, addiction, self-injury and suicide something that we don't have to shy away from but can talk about more openly.

Matt was one of the core founders of the PopPunk outfit, Divided By Friday. He and his mate, Jose, now write music for films. I've had the pleasure of knowing Matt before all that began, and watching him and his band progress throughout the past 18 years. I'm so grateful for his friendship, kindness, and inspiring attitude.
